#Popeyes and #Subway both are successful companies in the fast food industry in nowadays. People love fast food because in today’s busy society, fast food is the best way to choose for a meal, and most of them are delicious. 
#Popeyes now has two official Facebook Pages, one for the brand itself, #Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, and one tied to a special promotion for their bone-in chicken called #Bonafide. The company chose that term for two reasons: First, the word means "authentic," something that fits very well for use in social media. Second, it's a play on the word “bone.”

#Popeyes always post posts twice a month. Sometimes it responds customer’s question and the news about the industry. It uses the 50/50 rule very well. This post is the most successful promotional one in their recent 20 posts. It called #Wicked fun with a $4 Wicked Good Deal. There has:
·           1.59 million of play
·           20,000 likes
·           3,765 shares
That probably means high quantity with low price is worthy for customers. It is successful because the product attracts customers attention. Imagining that only $4 that you can get fries, biscuits, and fried chicken, that’s amazing!


#Subway also did a good job on social media about promotion. Until now, it already had:
·           750,104 likes
·           766,753 comments
·           77,900 shares
The content of posts includes promotional, discounts and some industry related events. It uses 50/50 rule very well.

 
This successful promotional post is called #Get your fill of fall flavors with our New Autumn Carved Turkey Sandwich. The post shows all fresh ingredients of this sandwich and let chief introduce the process of making it on a video, that echoing the slogan #Eat Fresh of Subway. Therefore, a customer can be relieved to eat food. That’s why many fans would like to choose #Subway than other fast food.
